The Seventh Avenue Center for the Arts and Spirituality (SACAS) creates a unique environment for the co-mingling of art forms in San Francisco’s Inner Sunset neighborhood. We offer an affordable rental space for independent musicians, small music ensembles, as well as seekers and teachers of spirituality to conduct rehearsals, recitals, concerts, workshops and retreats.
The Center’s specifications are:
- Area is approximately 40’ x 60’
- Seating capacity of 125 (folding chairs)
- Baby grand piano
- Excellent acoustics for soloists and medium-size ensembles
- Beautiful natural light during the day and intimate stage lighting for evenings
- Located upstair and not wheelchair accessible
The SACAS is part of the family of ministries at Seventh Avenue Presbyterian Church, 1329 Seventh Avenue, between Irving and Judah Streets in San Francisco, that serves as its host location. Please note: SACAS is a second story venue and because of the historic nature of the building in which we are located, currently is not wheelchair accessible.
Because of the high-density neighborhood, parking is limited and use of public transportation is hightly recommended. The SACAS is located near the N Judah streetcar, 6 Parnassus MUNI bus lines, closely located to the 43 Masonic and 44 O’Shaugnessy MUNI bus lines, and is approximately 5 blocks from UCSF. As well, there are many restaurants and shopping venues within a very short walking distance.
The SACAS is available most days between 2:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
